The English Hub is a large server. Channels are grouped in the sidebar by topic and often by difficulty — names may mention beginner, intermediate, advanced, or themes like gaming, study, or debate.
If speaking makes you nervous, start in text channels and listen in voice without unmuting. When you are ready, join voice channels that match your level. Classroom sessions and community events are announced through Discord Events and on the website homepage.
Public channels are English only; other languages have dedicated spaces listed in our community guidelines. Using another language in general English areas disrupts practice for everyone else.
If you are lost, ask in report-help or a help channel rather than guessing. Reading the community guidelines once saves a lot of confusion about what each area is for.
