This system is seasonal, meaning each month a new set of roles become available after a reset, marking the start of the new season. This would include amendments to the role names, colours and icons, ensuring a fresh and exciting start to each season. All that time ago this server was opened up with just one member - Vivek. At that time Vivek was unknowingly going to be the founding member taking this server on its onward journey. Before long we had two or three more members joining, then a little time after that we now have an amazing community of over 200,000 people spending time together in The English Hub!
We have seen some members join and the level of English is ever improving. In some cases members have joined us with an amazing level of English, but have then stayed on to help others to grow and progress. A big shout-out to our great teachers for their classes and support given.
All in all Vivek had a great idea to create this server for us and make it a fantastic place for like-minded folk to all come together.

Recent events have seen a devastating earthquake in Marrakesh-Safi, Morocco and the catastrophic flood within the city of Derna, Libya. We have seen via the news and social media that many thousands of people have lost their lives in these disasters.
As time is passing it is becoming clear that many more families are finding that they have lost loved ones, their livelihoods, and have found their homes have been destroyed.
Whilst we cannot share all of the charity websites and links to help the affected countries we can only advise you to look for official charities within your country to ensure donations arrive directly to those in need.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those people who sadly lost their lives and their families that have been affected during this difficult and devastating time.

Hey and welcome to "Enghub Courtroom". Have you ever had the urge to complain about something or present a case that has been bothering you? Either about a Discord mute, Discord dispute, relationship or a real life scenario, doesn't matter. This is where you can finally sue your friends, make a case, get it judged and fulfill your complaint dreams. You will be presenting your case to a randomly selected jury and are expected to show up if you enter. "The Judge" and his jury will be waiting for you!
To participate, simply send your case to AND MAKE sure to stick with the rules listed below.

The game is pretty simple, you don’t need any applications or complicated commands.

•The host will give you an Object to hunt.

The commands name is define but you can use other aliases as well. `?help define` shows you how to use the command. It can currently be used in any channel but make sure not to spam it and use it wisely.

We have been hard at work making updates and changes to the server. Below is a quick list of changes. As always if you have suggestions feel free to let us know using the section.
To start off, we have added additional voice channels to practice English. As the server continues to grow exponentially, we will be diligent to continue to add more channels as needed. Please remember to always be courteous to others to make people feel comfortable talking in voice channels no matter their proficiency level.
Also, with the help of we have a book club. Be sure to check out the channel to see what book or story is currently being read and what time the discussions are.
If you haven’t noticed, we also added a channel for members to communicate and find others who speak their native language. Please keep other languages to these channels to keep our primary text channels English only.
Want to post something and not sure where? Try out the section. Here you can find a plethora of discussions about many different subjects like if you prefer coke or pepsi ||water obviously||? how about if you collect something specific? Do you enjoy taking care of house plants? It all can be found here.
Lastly, we added a dictionary bot to the server. If you see a word and aren’t quite sure what it means, try using this useful bot to help.
• Dictionary feature: by using the /define command then typing the word you are looking for, dictionary bot will pull up the definition of the word you are looking for.
• Translate feature: You can also use this bot to translate from another language to English. For this simply use /translate. Put the target language as English and then type the message you are thinking of in your native language.

I started playing chess in my college days and ever since it's a part of my life. It helped me so much in my life. I learnt so much from this game, from patience to team work and much more but I also got so much addicted to this beautiful game that I skipped mid terms exams just to play chess in a tournament and It wasn't a good idea.
Why you should play chess?

Over the past few months, The English Hub held many engaging events that both helped our members in their quest for fluency and were fun. That has always been our goal, to provide a safe space for members to engage with other learners and to put their language skills to practice. Some ideas failed with some succeeding thanks to the interest our members have shown.
We come here with yet another proposal whose fate depends on you, and you alone. Behold the book club! Before we start the book club, we need a few founding members to fill the positions of curators.
We are looking for:

2)Knowledge of a variety of genres
3) Extroverts and outspoken analysts
4) Fluency in English
5) Must be able to attend the book club sessions (once or twice a week, negotiable)
